    A/C pressure, how high

hey guys, got a quick question.

how much pressure is built up in an a/c truck system once you turn it on?

how much pressure is built up in the system once it's running and blowing cold?

I'm assuming, about 50-115psi at first, then about 200psi.

    thanks,
    allen

Allen to calulate highside pres on 134a system you can use the following formula
    [(Ambient x 2)+60] + or - 20

so at 95* you pressure will be around 250psi plus or minus 20psi

and of course as the cab air cools the high side pressure will come down

most all cars/truck have between 80-100lbs of pressure not running.. I try and see 200ish on the high side at idle 210 in the hot sun doing a charge Cab air and Fan speed outside have direct effect on highside pressure .. they more air across the condenser the better.. I allways rev them off idle and make sure your under 230ish on the high side nothing close to 250 for me...
