I went to the dyno tonight with Allen (thanks for the help Allen). The baseline #'s were OK for the little 4.8. BUT the wideband was reading 15.74. That's way lean!!!!! All Allen and I can come up with is the fuel pump, regulator or the injectors are bad..

I know the fuel pressure regulator is adjustable. Does anyone know how to adjust it???

I'm going to put a fuel press. gauge on it and that should tell me something.(I HOPE)

Has anyone else had this problem??

Allen fed as much fuel as he could with a tune and the motor ran the same??Between 14.85 and 15.72 A/F
So I know it's NOT THE TUNE, it's the truck....

Allen, thanks for ALL the help. Allen is a stand-up guy and is easy to work with.

Could be the filter. What was the duty cycle on the injector? Do you know if you were going into PE? Did you descreen your MAF? if you did you would need to edit the MAF table.

Fuel trims, O2 readings, and inj pulse width info would help a lot.... Can ya get those?

Allen has all the tables. So maybe he can tell you. And the fuel filter was changed last week.

Allen said he added SOOO much fuel that black smoke should be coming out the tailpipe.

I ain't giving up my fuel curves, hahah , jk.

The 02's were reading way low (lean) about 450 or so. I can't recall the pw but they were inline enough not to stick out, I'll have to get those again. Ltrims were perfect, they were hoving around -3. They went to 0 at wot.
It was going into PE , I make all tuned trucks go there without delay, that's a nice setting in edit.

We'll get this protruk and thanks for joining me at the dyno, I knew there was something funky going one with your truck when it didn't respond to well to the tune.

    see ya soon,

    allen

If you want I can can it with my ease scanner and see if it is going into pe. It will show inactive if not, and that could be your problem. You could try and put a stock maf back in and see if that is the problem. If it is the problem rent an enterprise truck for the day and swap, maf's after you load the rent truck with NOS (just for the fun of it).
