    Hey guys I'm looking for a 03-04, GMC, regular cab, Sportside, V8. Not too picky on the other details. LOL, finding one is turning out to be quite a challenge.

    yeah man, tell me about it...it took me about 8months to find mine and thats cus i live in the valley where these trucks are extremely popular...i found alot but they all had over 100,000 miles or were 4.8s or sixers and they all wanted like over 12grand for them...5.3s are a bbitch to find

    Cool thanks for the reply! I'm in no hurry. 4.8 would be ok too. I'm taking the 5.7 out of my 81 and swaping in any v8 that comes with the new one to sell the old one. I have found an abundance of v6 trucks. I've got about 10 dealers looking for one. Any where in TX or surrounding states would be ok too. I found one in KY but I don't think I want to go that far to look at a truck. I'm not even too picky on color. I thought I found one today but it was another v6. I had no idea those trucks were soooooo rare. I'll find one. I've got nothing but time.

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.
