well i had my 3.73 and eaton put in today and lets just say the damn thing shoots out of the hole. and i havnt even got all the way on it from a dead start. the most i have pushed is maybe half throttle. along with a couple of other mods the truck seems to be running very well. even had the trans adjusted today and i got back my firm shifts. there are just a tad bit to firm though. gonna have them turn it down a little tomorrow.
so any ways. i was pulling onto the feeder road of 45 tonight when i ford Harley Edition was pulling onto the feeder road from the U-turn at the same time. when i took off i slightly barked second and kept going. as i reach about 65MPH to get up on the freeway i notice that he is comin pretty good. so i nail it to see what i can do. He's in the inside lane and i am in the middle. he was about 10 truck lengths behind me when i nailed it. and the closest he got before i started PULLING FROM HIM was about half a truck length behind me and thats where he stayed. behind me untill i let off and he did one of those ricer flyby's and turned on his hazards.
im very impressed at the way my little 4.8L handles now. im hopin on being in the 14"s the next time i get to the track.

Nice kill Thunder, I hope it runs better at the track.

I've never been impressed with those trucks or the L's. Come on a supercharged v8 that runs low 14's and has all the hype. They run that all the time here. Not sure what they run in your area. I know a few mods and they are low 13's, but come on again, for a supercharged truck that is supposed to be the shit lol.
Not saying a supercharged 14sec truck is slow, becuase it isn't, that's damn good, but with that much publicity and hype, i just expect more.

nice to see you whoop on a boosted truck like that, i knew it had it in there.

Nice run and glad your tranny held together. We don't want to see a post today I was drive home going up a hill and the tran's made a loud sound and I went backwards down the hill. Your trans company must love to see you coming back. To funny. Need to brake stuff in then try to brake it.
