5.3 conversion

I have a 3.73 gear,a eaton diff.dynatech longtubes with cats and a gibson muffler set up,and i am going to buy a 5.3 with all aceesories from a buddy of mine,i know i need the ac lines,power steering lines and mounts from a 5.3 truck,i am doing a swap from a 4.3 v6 to a 5.3 v8 what all do i need to put this motor in and install it,and who sells a wiring harnees and computer for an 03 gmc sierra,automatic

Lets see. Your powersteering lines should be OK from the V6. You will need a new fan shroud, fuel lines, radiator hoses, air intake, and maybe transmission dipstick. The driveshaft may have to be cut and balanced. You can get a PCM from Allen Nelson. Get AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE from the donor. Am I missing anything else guys?

Does Nelson carry wiring harnesses too? if not theirs lots of companies that make them...about &#036;700 will get you what you need...

I think he does. Im not sure though. I would def use him for the PCM and go ahead and pay for a tune.

i think the drive shaft is the same,i wouldnt be moving the trans at all would i,i am doing to run ls1 fans and a nelson harness,anrhing else i need?

if you just want a stock harness i priced one at the dealership i work at for barely over 500, your price shouldnt be over 6 if even that at a dealership.
