I am leaning towards getting some SS wheels sometime in the future, if I could only save some money. I was wondering if anyone knows if the wheels can be weighted from the back of the wheel instead of the front? I just don't like the look of the weights.

find a site called innovetive balancing. They have ceramic beads that go inside the tire and your tires will never need balancing again. I will have my beads before Sat and will report back to you on how they did for 20" rims.

Thanks for the replies, I havn't payed close attention to the SS wheels when I am out and about. I have seen some of the new 20" wheels they are putting on the tahoes and youkons, and they are wheighted on the outside, that is why I ask.

You can balance any wheel on the back side. Alot of places are just to lazy to do it, Including the factory.

ive got ss 20s replicas and they put the weights on the inside. if your looking for a place to get some similar. check out this website. www.wheelsandcaps.com. thats where i got mine for a reasonable price. the center caps are different, but i can always change those out.

Unfortunately I can't get them for some months. I am working on getting a better job, so I am just spending my paychecks now by asking questions.
