I decided to SD tune the Dragalanche, I didn't get any faster but my MPH went up quite a bit.

My best a few weeks ago was 13.9, Friday I ran a 14.0 but, at 101mph!

The SD completely changed the truck!!! I can't hear the cam anymore, acceleration is flawless, and it pulls through 3rd gear now.

I can tell it picked up some HP by sotp and mph down the track.

I think I'll be putting 4.10's in the truck along with a posi, the tires are just too tall and even with 3psi off the line, it still doesn't have the 60' I want.

what are the differences in the speed density tune you did, compared to the tune you already had on the drag?

Good News! just think of the power your making to be kinda of doggy on the line and still make 101 MPH at the 1/4 ! When i was at the track, my truck wanted to pull much more but the finsh line was there! If we can get our trucks out of the hole better the times are gonna drop!! How can you get the cam sound back?

Keep us updated vv8, it's kind of cool outside, should be some good runs if you do get to run.

Ducky, the maf can be removed with SD tuning, you basically tune from the map sensor only.
It's working out so great, the truck will pull effortlessly to 110 and beyond and hold a perfect a/f ratio and more importantly it doesn't surge anymore. I never really dug into why it was surging before because I knew I was going this route.

SCIV, yours is next!

Ya Tim, I think it will actually get quicker with some 4.10's and pull just as well through the gears and load the turbo just fine. Those 3.42's and tall tires aren't enough, too doggy off the line.
I'll be increasing the boost before I get the 4.10's but I think it would do a mid 13 with 4.10's. I'm sure it will be there with 8psi.
My goal is mid 12's with great drivability and good mileage.

So Allen are you going to end up having to switch to the 2bar map tune? I am thinking of going 1bar on mine, will the SD tune get rid of the maf code and all the maf crap in the tune? Will my LTFT work with the 1bar tune?
