Well the install is complete. The PCM is having some trouble learning the idle. It keeps wanting to stall when I come to a stop.

    BUT...

On the freeway it's a different story. This thing smokes now. When I was coming back from the install last night, I had been driving for about 1/2 hour when (in short) me, an 05 or 06 Mustang and a GSXR all happened to wind up next to each other. The motorcycle kept dogging the Mustang and the guy finally bit. We all got on it at about the same time and the motorcycle was just screwing with us, but then finally twisted the throttle and he was a speck in seconds. So that left me and the Mustang. He either wasn't getting on it all the way or it was an even match because he wasn't pulling on me. I let off at 110 and he kept on...whatever I'm not running above that.

Anyway, I am very happy with the results. There's more of an increase than I thought I would see. And that's before the tune...that'll happen next week (hopefully...Paging Allen, Paging Allen...). This thing should sing after that...

Yeah it will take awhile to adjust, but its not gonna adjust right until you get tuned for it.

    Thanks Chris.

Hey, how is that t-stat working out? And the synthetic conversion - notice any gains. A magazine article dyno'd a regular ol' Chevy truck and gained (reportedly) 10 hp after switching to all synthetics.
