what is the easyiest way to pull out the stock front coil springs and put in some 2 inch lowering springs? im doing it to the truck in my sig. My suspension is a shock that is surrounded by the coil, so i think that using a spring compressor isnt possible? have any of you guys done this? thanks for the help

I think you can pop off the lower ball joint with the frame supported by jack stands and let a floor jack under the lower control arm down until the spring pops out. You also have to remove the shock first.

    That's definetly the easiest way.

I tried to do mine by unbolting the lower controll arm from it's mounting points, and the ended up being a total mess.

Support your frame with jack stands ,remove your sway bar end links, remove your shock, remove cotter pin from lower ball joint nut loosen it until you see that the nut and the end of the ball joint stud are flush. Take a big hammer and smack the spindle until the ball joint drops down. Then jack up on the lower control arm to relieve the pressure on the balljoint nut. Then remove the nut and carefully lower the floor jack. Once all the pressure is released from the coil you can swing the control arm down low enough to get the coil out. Don't be shy with that hammer on the spindle. Hit it like you got a pair.
