Allen,

Must be having email problems. Sent a few emails over the last week and a half. No response.

Wanting to swap out mu injectors on my 99 model to 03 . From my looking these are the 24 lb injectors. Can you give me the info I need to enter in on hptuners for injector duty cycle.

Thanks,

brian

I'm no Allen but I do have the info you need. Your stock setting for those injectors will be 24.25, thats up from our old injectors of 21.76. Now if you want to truely match them, you will need to know the what flow they are rated at. I know they are like 24# injectors, but they usually have a flow rate (i think thats the term) thats a bit higher or lower. Then go over to ls1tech and find redhardsupra and look up his injector spreadsheet, that supposedly does an awesome job of truely tuning the injectors. For me, the stock table has done fine though.

Thanks for the reply. Nice truck..

I read the forum all the time, If I remember correctly , I think you just lost the tranny and rear end.
Sorry to hear that.

I tore our my rear end two years ago- Broke carrier unit in half.

Broke sunshaft 7-8 months ago. Had to go back in it 2 months ago, output shaft cracked and several other bad things.

Try plugging this value across the board in your IFR table: 41.5 that will get you very close with the new injectors.

good luck,

Hey Allen, what about for the 99's? Was my value of 21.76 right? When i tuned my VE with the wideband I ended up having to take out a ton, then for the MAF it seems like I had to add it all back in the MAF curve. Is my truck just flowing that much more air with the Z06 cam or are my injector values off. I stuck with the stock IFR table.

Must be overlooking something..

What table are you speaking of with IFR. I am new to this, but must have over looked it.

I assume you are speaking of Flow rate to KPA.

Thanks

Brian

Tried the 41.5 setting. Truck ran terrible. It loped like it had a cam. However ran very rough,
acted like it wanted to cut off whenI touched the gas. Switched back to 25.24 as a setting to
get me back home.

Thanks,

Brian
