Looking for a HD hood for my 2000 Silverado Ext Cab 1500
I believe that they bolt right on w/o any alignment problems.
Any suggestions or comments?

I have seen this on 1500 trucks and as far as i could tell it bolts right up, i havent ever seen hd hoods for sale in magazines or on websites so you mightwant to check a gm parts website or someone might of gottin rid of thiers for a cowl hood so check ebay too.

Yes it is a bolt on. You can get a new one from GM for about $400. Or you can check local salvage yard. Should be plenty of them out there.
