You'll enjoy the gauge, you'll find yourself playing with it while driving, so be careful, lol.
It's probably the most handy tool you can buy.

It's like having autotap and a laptop all packaged up in a guage.

I'll try to get a video of it in action, it's really cool.

    later,

    allen

Allen is right, I can't quit playing even in traffic. I have not had a chance to use it to log at the track. It is interesting all the information you can look at while it is running. I have mine sitting in my map pocket under the center vent and it is easy to watch the data.

What specifically do you want to know?

I bought the dual set but haven't installed them yet.

My question is what good is the logging function when there appears to be no way to get the information that is logged to a tuner? How would I get the information to Allen for tuning... since I still havn't bought a tune software program (afraid to ruin the engine with my ignorance of tuning). If I had my Interceptors hooked up and logged info how would I get the logged information to Allen so he could apply that info to a new tune? Thanks, Jim

According to the menu after you log the info you can replay it. The logging starts after 50% engine load or 50% throttle. Sounds like with a dual set up you can record 4 items for 1 run. Even if the information is written in an email to Allen he can do something with it. These gauges only read and log info and the only thing it can change is clearing the problem codes.

Jim, Where are you going to put the dual gauges??? Upper console, A-Pillar??

this was one of my concerns on buying this gauge, i want to be able to look at all of the important data i need to diagnose a prob and beable to give allen info he would need to correct a prob if i have one, also wanted to be able to clear codes and read codes on my other vehicles. it seems like this is better than buying a hand held scan tool cause i can have it mounted on my a pillar and maybe just get a longer cord to scan my familys vehicles if need be. i was looking at the scan gauge, its less expensive but does not read L trims and S trims and some other values i think a tuner needs info , any time i spend 200+ on an item i just want to know it will work and just wanted to see if you guys were happy with, i dont want it for the bling factor. seems like you guys are happy with it and im sure i will be too!

Planning on the pillar mount. Not sure how to get the wire between the dash and the body and under the dash without hurting the dash but I need to do a close inspection of the area and I havn't done that yet.

I also have a Dynojet Commander Wide Band A/F guage to get installed and was going to put it in the pillar at the same time. Just haven't gotten around to it... winter projects, along with heads, cam, meth and HP or EFI.

I intend on getting one to put under the air vent to always ahve some way of logging and find out what is going on with my truck at all times cause I wont always have the laptop in the truck. My friend has one of these gauges in his truck and he loves it. It is amazing the features that little gauge has and can display two items at one time so i can watch for knock retard right there without having to look down at the laptop just glance at the apilar if I put it up there still undecided. Can you get these with the stainless bezel on it to match my autometer cobalt gauges? I dont care for that part of it with teh black bezel other than that I like them.
