Can someone tell me what this is and what its for. since the cooler weather my truck stalls on startup so i have to give it some throttle to keep it going but then it surges up and down bad till it warms up.

how cold does it get where you live? the throttle body bypass wont help with your problem. i wouldnt recomend doing it anywhere where there are freezing temperatures.

basically you remove the coolant lines from the bottom of the throttle body. they are there to heat up your throttle body so cold weather will not effect it. ive heard of throttle bodies not closing all the way after long trips because they freeze.
