I just thought I would ask. I got my PCM back from Jesse today. Put it in and the first thing the SES light came on. I assume it is for the crank re-learn. I went to take it for a test drive and the shifts were real slow and soft and when tryin to cruise the truck will surge very badly like the TC is tryin to lock-up but can't. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Other than that there is a very noticeable power gain. Can someone help?

maybe a misfire code, that will unlock the converter randomly.

    good luck,

Can the misfire code or crank relearn cause it to act like it is constantly tryin to find a gear? Like it is constantly searching the gears when cruising?

The crank relearn code will not cause it to run or drive any different, its pretty much just a light on the dash. Trust me I have had them before, as to what your problem is I am sorry to say I cannot be of any help, I am not sure. I just wanted to tell you that the crank relearn is not it.
