P0315 - Crankshaft position (CKP) system variation values are not stored in the PCM memory.

Any shop with a decent scan tool can perfrom the Crankshaft Relearn and clear the codes.

Got late at night and bring at least a $10 spot Takes about 5 mins.

Do you need just an OBD II scanner or what?

Well I can only speak for myself. I have a SnapOn Modis, Scan Tool/ LabScope. Heck I only work at a Tire Kingdom lol. I get $80 for Engine Diags.

My boss leaves about 5pm So the cash window opens shortly after
$10 or even a thank you would be fine with me.

I have a OTC Genisys at home its only updated to 2000. (my $3000 paper clip)
I can read codes, view all the datastreams, run special test IE. crankshaft relean, iac...etc on any GM vehicle upto 2005 I Just running the vehicle as a 2000 Silverado...etc and it works.

You can just goto autozone and get the codes cleared. If your truck will run now it will learn it on its own. HTH
