    5.3 lm7 into my 1990 K1500 VSS wiring help

ok im trying to finish up my swap into my 1990 k1500 originally with 5.7 tbi and 700r4 and now with a 5.3 lm7 and 4l60e running lt1swap's stand alone harness...Ive got almost everything figured out but i just cant seem to find the correct answer for my vss wiring....what i need to know is what to hook my vss to, to send signal to my 5.3 ecm and what to run the vss out green and white wire to make my factory speedometer read correctly.. i already have it reprogrammed for all my mods that have been done.. I just need to know the correct wiring to make it work....

Any help would be great i am just stuck on this

Just my 2 cents, but make sure to check and double check the diagrams on the lt1swap site. There are some that are harder to find than others but most are there, plus Brendan is awesome about getting back to people with emails. Not sure about older transmissions and ECMs but I'm pretty sure you need a signal coming from the vss on your trans to go into the ECM and a signal going from the ECM to your gauge. I'm in the process of figuring that out now, and it takes a bit of diagram research to get there. If you've driven the vehicle and the trans shifts ok throughout the rpm/speed range than you're halfway there. That means your ecm is receiving the correct signal from your vss
