    4l80e shift shaft part #

Need the part number for the longer shift shaft on a 4l80e. I picked up an older unit that has the short shaft and need the longer one for neutral safety switch. I googled but want to make sure I get the right part.

just go to your local trans shop and tell them what you need. they should have some extra laying around. thats what i did and what was recomended to me. they gave me one including the new seal and retaining nail for 10 bucks. a new shaft alone online is like 50 bucks.... screw that.

Any one have any pics of a home made bracket to Mount a nuns to a older tranny that don't have the mounting points? I'm sure it would be simple, just want to see what some have done for it.
