    what converter are you running?

first off i know this is a trans related question, but i posted it here in FI because my post is directed to TURBO guys.

most companys ive spoke with today have relatively same pricing, all with in a 100 or 2 dollars.

    01 ecsb 4wd 78mm turbo 5.3
    225/225.581/.581 113 lsa
    80e
    750-1000 hp
truck is not daily driven, more of a occasional weekend toy. meaning streets/strip, but would like to maintain somewhat decent drivabilty
    thinking 3600 stall

    now my question is
what converter are you running, and why?
also and pros/cons to current convert or past converters

I have the same cam as you in my 5.3. I run a Circle D 2b with a th400. It stalls around 3400-3600 but its a touch too loose. I love the converter but it will need to be tightened up for 18+ psi.

TCS S3 4600 9/11 in the fast truck. (Haven't driven it, but love the same converter in my buddies truck stalled @ 3800)

Street Edge 2600 9.5" in my Daily (Well mannered converter with good manners and flashes very fast.)

Have ran in my old Ram:

Circle D 3000 11" (Daily drove great and had great performance for the price.)
Circle D 3400 Pro 258mm Single Disk (Sloppy and caused tons of issues with tuning, absolutely hated it. Shift extensions were not much higher then the 3000 11")
Pro Edge 4000 9/11 (Loose but drove well on the street, had great shift extensions and performed great at the track!)

They are only school but I really like the 9/11 converters. TCS would be my choice, they are not as well know on the forums but made a damn good converter!
