This could not have been easier. Seriously. I ordered the stalk from thecruisecontrolstore.com and in about an hour I had it in. I even ran it through my firewall, tapped into the current module, and bazinga.

So here are some pics as proof, since I always say "pics or it didn't happen"

Here's what I pulled out of the truck. Useless junk. I did tap into the wires and soldered the connectors to the wires instead of just twisting them together and black taping them.

About 2 hours worth of work total here's what I came up with:

Some places said I'd have to reprogram the PCM, even the dealership told me that. Whelp.... I say LIES. Plugged it in and it just worked. I re-used the front lower dam, I just used an X-acto knife and carefully cut out the blanks. Instead of buying one with holes pre-cut. I'm cheap. Total price was about $350 for factory GM Fog light kit and a factory cruise control stock.

It all works flawlessly, I cannot complain.
