So, as the title says; I'm curious about an LS3 swap into a 1990 K1500.

From what I've read I'll need to do some work to make the transmission fit right, but I have no idea where to begin on making the AC and other accessories work.

I'm not concerned about gauges, because I'll be installing all new ones custom in the truck.

What I'll be looking at is an L92/LS3 out of a Denali or Escalade with the Engine/Trans/AWD Transfer Case/ECU/Wire Harness.
