Hello everyone, newb from phx Az, mostly have been a Honda/Nissan guy over the passed few years, always wanted a truck suv and fix it but just never did. new to working with v8 but they seem so much easier to work with after doing some tinkering and reading aswell. I currently have a 1992 2 dr Fullsize Blazer, it has a 350 tbi and 187k original miles. Bought it from my g-pa cuz he needed money and I needed a vehicle temp, and a month after I got it tranny took a dump, rebuilt the tranny, now the motor is developing a small knock sooooo its swap time. I already bought a 5.3 long block from a 2000 silv. Im still doing all the reading required before I even ask any questions. I actually have been reading a lot of articles on here before I decided to even register. Mechanically the swap seams pretty easy and straight forward, its the wiring that I know will take patients and time. Ive always hated messing with wiring but I can do it. I know this site will help me get through it all.
