    Newbie from NE Oklahoma

Hey guys my names Chris, originally from the Edmond/okc area but currently living in Bartlesville (NE OK). I have a 1995 Chevy silverado z71 k1500, I'm not new to the forum world, just new to this one! Joined to learn more then i know, as well as find some more info on ls swaps. My 5.7 sbc 350 in my truck now has recently developed a slight knock so i have been trying to decide whether to just spend 1200 or so on a rebuilt 350 or save up and find a lq9 6.0 with 4l80e trans and build it to support a supercharger. Of course it will take me a while to get it done but this may be my chance to finally do it!

Got the truck for 4500 from my neighbor back in Edmond, truck was never abused or misused, always garaged and taken care of.

alright enough talk heres some pics

heres after i bought it next to the #s matching 67 c10 i used to drive

Welcome to the site. Enjoy all it has to offer.

I like the '67. I had one but got rid of it long ago. I wish I still had it. Not too many around.

thanks, ya the 67 is beautiful! still have the truck in the garage for now, it needs the motor rebuilt since it smokes like crazy when being driven, (burning oil baaaaad) and it needs the wood in the bed replaced as well as a new passenger bedside (result from dumbass rich lady speeding in school parking lot not paying attention, spun the truck around, bent the frame and smashed the bedside. Luckily i was in a autobody class so my teacher pulled the frame straight and pulled out some of the dent for free!) Insurance blamed me......i was backed out of a parking spot and was pulling away in full plain view sight and as i start driving away (after being fully backed out) wam, bish hits my truck, i got out and yelled are you f****** kidding me! She says "oh im sorry i wasnt paying attention" smdh
