    Question Truck choice

    Well my truck recently got in an accident involving wet roads and a big ol' tree so now i have to find a replacement but im kind of broke so i need to pay payments. im looking for a single cab swb or stepside truck. Any suggestions on what to look for. It will eventually be getting some type of ls engine and itll be a street/some what competitive drag truck in the future.

    I'd go for an 05-07. Best looking front end. Drums out back for sticking 15" wheels on there. Interior is nicer. That much newer.

    I have a 99 Silverado, and I love it. You can pick up an old work truck for pretty cheap. Then you can find a cheap ls motor, build it, and do the swap in a weekend. Either way, i don't think you can go wrong with any Chevy pick up.

    2006 RCSB are also nice, I have one for my oldest Son, but he can't start driving until next year.
