4.8 or 5.3 swap into a Nissan Truck

Hey all got a 93 Nissan Truck 2wd 4cyl 5spd that has a lot of miles and thought to maybe do a LSX based motor into it.I've seen others do older SBC swaps and Ford 302 swaps but haven't found any posts or info on this type of swap or a LS-1 swap.I always thought LSX based motors were a little longer and wider than a regular SBC.I know either way there's a lot of modifications that needed to be done etc.So before I dived into this thought to do more research and get more info before I did.What really sparked this was that my friend unfortunately wrecked his 02 chevy 1500 and would be a nice donor for it.Any info or help appreciated thanks !

very true just hoping there might be some others that have done it and might be able to provide pics of more detailed info is all.

Anywhere a SBC can go, an LSX will go. Very little difference in physical size.
