Cool beans! Got to start mine up over the weekend for the first time as well. I too have a high idle and SES. Gonna hook it up to the scanner tonight and start debugging. Post up what you find out with your high idle - may be the same issue on mine.

    thanks!

I figure my idle is a combination of factors, tune, no maf , ... Plus I just cracked the TB to get it to run. I will still need to drill by TB to bring my IAC values into check. That will help too.

Too keep some tech in the thread. The couple of items I haven't solved yet are as follows...
    1. gonna swap to the 3 wire temp sensor / sendor and do away with the S&P temp adaptor on the pass side.
    2. gotta get the speedo and cruise working. guessing I will have to go with the dakota digital speedo conditioner
    3. get rid of the check engine light on dash. will probably just pull the bulb. \
    4. I have a ss454 cluster out of a 90 model ( moonies ) to swap in
    5. mount my tach, and wire up my fuel pressure and wide band guages.
    6. swap to 3" drop springs in the front because it sits about an inch higher now on the same 2" drop springs as with the 4.3 v6
