00 4.3 silverado w/ 5 speed and 02 5.3 Tahoe engine, pcm and wiring harness?

I'm considering doing a 5.3 swap on my 2000 silverado ecsb with a 4.3 and a 5 speed. I've found an engine that's somewhat local but it's out of a 2002 tahoe. I can get the complete engine with harness and pcm, but I wasn't sure about the harness. Would the harness work with the silverado?

Yeah just get the 2WD harness to be safe

The 2002 Tahoe will probably be a drive by wire, while not impossible it would be more complex to use it on your truck.

Yes use a truck harness. The tahoe will be DBW. And no, it's not easier to convert the truck.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'd like to stay drive by cable. I may have found another setup locally from a 00 silverado that I'm going to check into tomorrow.
