    Spark plugs

As he title says, what spark plugs is everyone using? I had the NGK iridiumIX pn-tr5ix or 7397 in 5.3. The plugs I just replaced are NGK V Power pn-tr55 or 3951 that had 3500 miles one them. I went with the same plug but should I have gone with he iridium plugs? Which one is better?

I think I will run these plugs for awhile longer and then get the iridium plugs later. I imagine the v-power plugs are almost oem style plugs. Whats the diffrence from tr55- tr6?

Yes heat range. And yes tr6's are a colder heat range. But no not tr55 for NA and tr6 for boost. I'm NA and run tr6. It's all about what your tuner thinks. My tuner recommended tr6 for what I've got and the tune I have. It could be different for every single truck here.

He put in tr55 but after 3500 miles you can see my plugs look a little crazy. Ill post a link of my other thread that has pics of the plugs and the problem I had cuz of them. Im going to get with him and see what he says about the iridium ix plugs.
