    dm-100 not working?

I bought a Dm-100 kit with the wide band hook up and have been installing it. for the moment i dont have the cable and o2 sensor for the wideband so im just trying to hook up the gauge. i have it hooked up and plugged in and the guage turns on but only tells me that its trying to connect to my truck.... anyone know how and or why its doing it and how to fix it? i called plx and they said it could be due to my tune. i do have my rear cats deleated but would that be whats doing it? any help would be great thanks guys...

It's trying to connect to the sensor! Obviously a wideband oxygen sensor is not gonna be able to connect if it's not connected to the sensor. You really need to have all the parts of what you're trying to do before you do it.

Na trav im not trying to use the sensor part because i dont have it yet. i ordered it yesterday from nelsons but im hooking up just the DM part in the ob2 port and thats what its saying. it will say that weather the plug is in the port or not. but the guy at plx said it should time out? the guage never changed. it did the same thing when i hooked it up on my buddies car so im thinking it could be in the box or sumthing?

So as far as i was told im not a idoit somthing could be wrong? thanks for the input but if ya just gotta put in your extra 2 cents count me out. Im not a ass to you show alittle respect please....

The one on the left is the wideband box. It connects to the one on the right. The one ob the right is the display module. Its the on om trying to connect for now and you can see were the obd2 hook up is...?
