Security Camera's

Does anybody know anything about security camera's? I want to get some for my home and shop. I am looking for some with excellent night vision quality and must have dvr version.
What are some quality brands to look at?

We have this one made by Defender (i believe) that controls 8 cameras on a DVR with a 500GB hardrive.....Works well but night vision could be better.

Do already have a security alarm? My company makes a quality alarm with cameras that are motion activated and will stream to your phone PC etc and save any kind of event(motion sensor goes off(system doesn't have to be active) windows open, doors open, etc You can also activate the camera with your phone or computer when ever you want. No limit to what is saved to your online profile in the cloud. Camera's are mobile have tilt and pan or stationary options. Lots of flexibility and I can hook you up on the install, equipment, and monthly cost.

Our camera at the house is a maniquin head on the side of a shop hangin outta window! Noone ever notices it!
