Ok heres the deal the ole' 5.3 is done it has a lifter knocking sometimes and its time to go ahead and get a 6L. I am getting some West Coast Racing cylinder heads and some sort of cam. So heres the deal I want to get a cam that will give me good power from 3000rpm up to about 6500. I have a 3000 stall so low down power is not needed. I want something that is going to have a real choppy lopy idle. So far I am looking at 228 or 230 with a 580 lift with a 112 or 114lsa. Any suggestions? Has anyone had good luck with a particular cam?
