    LS6 or TR220 cam

i have a 2004 extended cab 2wd 4.8 auto 3.73 gears daily driver. i have found 2 cams im looking at buying one just not sure ls6 or tr220. will the ls6 cam make noticeable increases in power? if i use the tr220 can i use ls6 springs with it and will i need pushrods and a stall? im not really wanting to install a stall. i will be getting the ecm tuned by nelson and installing my long tubes and air intake when i do the cam. any info will be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want a stall and want to use LS6 springs than the go to cam is the 212/218 low lift. It will make a significant difference in power without any big compromises. It will make a lot more power than the LS6 cam, but won't scream like a big high lift cam.

I've ran both a 212/218 .522/.529 114 and a 220/220 .581/.581 112+2 The 212/218 was a great cam and didn't compromise anything badly enough that I needed a stall or anything, it was great, with 3.42 gears. Now I'm running the 220/220 and REALLY like it, but only now that I'm running 4.11 gears. When I was 220/220 and 3.42s it needed a stall BAAADDDD, but it does really good now with the 4.11s.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but what stall would work best with the 220?
