    Water in my Fuel

I changed some stepper motors on my cluster and wanted to make sure my fuel gauge was correct. So I went to the local Quickie Mart and topped of my tank with 15 gallons. I made it the 1 mile to my driveway when the truck died. Started it up and it was running like s#$@. The first thing I did was to drain some fuel into a clear glass and it was full of water. I drained the tank, flushed the lines, changed the filter and ran some sea foam throught it. But my whole sunday evening was shot messing with it. I took a mason jar to the gas station and filled it up with super to prove it was that staion before i made a ass of myself. No all this asshole wants to do is repay me for the 15 gallons of super I bought. I think he should pay for the parts and the whole tank of fuel I wasted. What would you guys charge him for?

that sucks, but your probably not going to get anything out of a small time guy like that. Just write it up as a loss and a learning experience not to go to the hole in the wall stations. We stick to shell and chevron stations.

Honestly, I use a mom and pop station more than any other one. Around here, there are only two GOOD stations that don't have ethanol in the gas and they're 17 miles away. The local store is about 15 cents higher a gallon, but its ethanol free and I've never gotten bad gas at it in 8 years.

You probably won't get much out of them. Just count it as a lesson learned and move on down the road.

We have a ton of stations like that around here, Gas 4 Less being the worst. You just gotta learn which ones to avoid, sucks you had to learn it that way though.
