I was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem or maybe you could help me figure it out. Roughly 2 months ago my truck was dragging a bit when it was turning over. I drove it like that for a week and figured it was the starter going out. So one morning it was dead. Just to make sure I took the battery in and it tested bad. I bought a new one and it fired right up no problem. Well now a few days ago the truck wont start again. I test the batt with the multimeter and the voltage is 12.33. I always thought anything under 12.4 is bad. So i take the batt to get tested it says 12.28 and they say its good. Whatever they give me a new battery anyway and I put it in and still my truck wont start. I turn the key and I have lights, dash, radio, then after I turn the key theres one click and no crank. So I checked all my fuses, I took my parking lights relay and put it where the starter relay was and still one click and no crank. Pulled the starter (all connections on batt and starter looked ok to me) and had it checked and they said the starter was good. ??? Now what do I do? I was thinking I would put the starter back on and make sure I was getting power down to it right? maybe a cable is bad or somthing... Any suggestions?
I have been looking online about a neutal safety switch but how can i test this?
Also can the starter test good but still not have enough power to turn the flywheel?
thanks for the help

also I just remembered if I get a click when I turn the key doesnt that rule out the ignition switch?
