    Aluminum driveshaft?

I've been wanting to get rid of my factory two-piece driveshaft. That said, I've been looking on the "driveshaft specialist of texas" website. I'm considering one of their aluminum driveshafts both to reduce weight and go to a one-piece driveshaft. But how strong are these aluminum driveshafts and about how much power can they handle?

You have a RCSB, correct? I only ask because I have an extended cab and the driveshaft I'd need would be a bit longer. That shouldn't be a problem should it?

Aluminum is not a good idea of your planning on making power. I shredded mine, now I have a 2 piece 3.5 inch steel driveshaft on my crew cab.

So, would a beefy one-piece steel driveshaft be a better idea for 600+ to the wheels?

Depending on the length you need, you might have to go with a two piece driveshaft.

Call and talk to them. I spent an hour on the phone with em. I was hitting 400ish shots of juice and they wanted a steel one. It was cheaper for me. Boost is less violent on it so may not matter for you.
