Who else works away from home

Just wonder who all doesn't do the normal commute to work and from home kinda work. Most know I work in Nigeria 4wks there and then 4wks at home. I'm on a plane waiting to head there now just wondering

I normally work a few hours out of town, staying in hotels. I normally get the weekends home though.

I am changing up jobs where I will be going weekends to different places in the southwest and most likely spending the summers in Texas.

I travel somewhere different just about every week during inspection seasons in the fall and spring. Two weeks ago I was in Billingsley, AL, last week in Kansas City, MO and this week I am in Dalton, GA. I am so sick of traveling right now.

I work all over the US and off shore. Ive been lucky enough lately to be able to pick and choose where I work, So been in south Tx for the last year and a half, and plan on staying here till it dries up. I usually spend 20+ days a month away.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

You guys in S. Texas be careful. Gotta keep your head on a swivel from what I am hearing. Bad people coming up and doing bad things.

I work 7&7 offshore in California as a crane mech. It is the best schedule I have ever had. Just when the wife starts to get tired of me, I leave for a week!

Errm, if you count deployments, I enlisted in Sept 2004, Deployed from July '06-Mar '07, Oct '07-May '08, Oct '09-May '10, Oct '10-May '11. Had numerous 2 week-2 month long schools during my times home. I've successfully spent more time away from home with schools and deployments than I have at home. Wish it was more steady.
