    WTB: MAF sensor

I'm not sure if there are different variations for Gen III motors but I need one for a 02 5.3.

Hit me up with what you have

I was reading the packet that came with the standalone harness and it says it is compatible with the 25179711 MAF sensor that was used on the 98-02 LS1 Camaros and 97-00 LS1 Corvettes.

I called to verify but didn't get an answer so I'm waiting on him to return my call.

do you have the harness? if so look at the plug for the MAF & see if it has 3 or 5 pins.
i have a 3 pin from the 02 camaro motor i'm putting in my truck but my harness is set up for the 5 pin so i had to get a 5 pin MAF & have the 3 pin MAF left over.
they do make a harness that goes from 3 to 5 pin if you want to go that route.
    i'll take $30 shipped for the 3 pin i have, it's been de-screened.

Funny thing...I can't find the MAF plug on the harness But I do have a separate IAT sensor plug which leads me to the conclusion that I do in fact need a 3 pin.

I'd rather not have a de-screened MAF though

yeah, sounds like you need a 3 pin. you should be able to find one on ebay fairly cheap. mine was de-screened when i bought the motor. i honestly don't know why someone would de-screen one. not like it has that much restriction to the air flow. i just wanted to let you know in case you were interested.
