Was talking to my dad today about getting his old car back on the street for him. 1972 Dodge Dart
Anyways he was talking about what he had done to the car back when he use to race it. One thing got my attention. It uses torsion bar front suspension. He told me that by switching from the V8 torsion bars to the straight 6 torsion bars he shaved .15 of his 60ft and lowered the front of the car some. I was wondering if it might be beneficial to run V6 torsion bars on the front of my truck. I don't even know if there is a difference in the GM truck torsion bars. However, some research proved it to be common on old Mopars to switch the torsion bars for better 60ft times.
This is mainly a thought process at the moment not changing any time soon. Got to get to the track and see what I run now before changing things up.
