I got an 04 silverado with a RCX 6" lift on it and I am thinking about going back to a factory type suspension. Question is when I installed my lift I had to cut an ear off of the front differental Cognito sells a piece that would replace that part on my front diff. but its for the 1500HD, 2500, and 3500 front diffs. With that I am wondering what would be the differences in the front diffs besides the heavier trucks front diff being slightly bigger? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
