    iPhone stuff...

So I'm laying in bed...we have a 42" flat screen in the bedroom about 10' in front of me. My laptop is by the TV on the floor plugged into the TV with HDMI cable. I downloaded the Mobile Mouse app and it basically turns your iPhone into a touchpad with scrolling, left and right click, etc. and with a full keyboard. You can select which programs you want to show up in the Mobile Mouse 'tray'. Example:

So you have quick access to those but can also access everything else as normal on your computer. As I'm typing this, the words show up on the iPhone 'touchpad'. So you can see the words on your phone rather than having to keep looking at the TV screen. I'm pretty impressed!

...and a shot of the TV...

Does anyone else use this? I'm pretty impressed with it!

Trying it now on my Android. It's a different app. Girlfriend is going to try it on her iPhone too.

She'll have to download a file from the Mobile Mouse site (here). its quick and painless. I had to do a restart to get the icons to show up in the tray. I actually restarted the laptop and the iPhone, so not sure where the glitch was.

It goes without saying since you have full access to your computer but you csn control iTunes, movie players, etc. Makes it nice to sit on the couch and control the movie player without having to get up and do it. I mean, god forbid we get exercise.

Seems to be a comparable app for the Android called Gmote. I would prefer that I be able to do it and not her lol.
