help with harness conversion, etc

hey guys. i am trying to figure out the harness conversion. what i got is a 98 obs 4.3 5spd thats getting a 99 5.3 out of a silverado. i do not know which route i have to go. can i just completely run the 5.3 harness and pcm or do i have to run both pcms. i have read on the forums now of people doing it both ways... if i can just go with one pcm, then that would be what i would want to do.

There are people that replace their 98 5.7L PCM with a 0411 successfully, so I don't see why you would have to run both. Look into the 0411 swap and see how they are integrating things such as the ABS. You should be able to do the same.
