    Front shocks

I need to replace my shocks soon and just wanted to see what some of the best bang for the buck shocks are. Just looking for pretty much stock replacements. I replaced the rears with Bilstein heavy duty shocks and were around 65 bucks each but the fronts are 75 a piece. Are there better cheaper ones out there i dont know about?

i doubt you can do much better then a bilstein, but edelbrock may be worth looking into also. i bought some edelbrock shocks quite some time ago, ran them on my truck under extreme conditions, they are now on my van performing fine. I got them about 8 or 9 years ago LOL they were a tad stiffer then the bilsteins, but made handling feel better on highway merging or fast turns.

got a price, pn, and location where you got them. Just doing a compare and contrast, not looking for a huge performance gains. Suspension will get completely torn out and redone as soon as i get a new DD.

Gonna convert to 2wd? You should do a coil over conversion, and take a lot of pictures.

For a cheap, budget shock, I've heard many suggest Monroe Reflex's. I'm going to try a set myself.
