Ok so apparently this a normall occurance? Went to do the front axle seals on my 2500hd and the passenger side was No problem. Pull the housing and the axle clip from the inside swap out seal and back together. How ever the drivers side is stuck. Took the diff out of the truck and tried a big slide hammer/Large slege hammer etc but no luck. Im told that the clip is probably worn or stuck and the only way to get the axle out is to cut the flange and take it out through the inside?? Thats no biggie but can you press it out? Or break the clip somehow? The axle new is as much as a used diff??? And a used diff is out of my budget right now!! Any help guys?
