how is it set up now? using the 99-02 style harness from Nelson Performance, or did you rework the 04 harness and used the DBW TB?
imma explain as if you used the 99-02 style set up.
take the 6.2 put it on the engine stand. take the knock sensors from the side of the block by the motor mount. drill and tap to fit your 5.3 knock sensors onto the side of the block. 11/32nd drill bit, 10mmx1.5 thread pitch tap. take the VVT cam out of the 6.2 and swap in a spec'd cam. change the timing cover/timing chain gear over to the 3 bolt cam if thats how you have the cam cut, if not reuse the single bolt cam gear. swap to the 4.8/5.3 timing cover in the VVT delete kit from Thunder Racing. you will need to run the 58x to 24x conversion module bc the 6.2 is a 58 tooth reluctor wheel, not a 24 tooth like your 5.3 you will then need to extend your knock sensor harness so they can reach the new location of the knock sensors. swap your 5.3 flywheel over to the 6.2 if you are using a dbw tb you will need to get the Dr. X link to go from the 5 pin tb to the 6 pin tb *the newer tbs are 6 pin* if you are running a dbc tb then you will have to buy a 4 bolt tb *90mm* then swap the motor over.
