    sts turbo on my 04 rcsb

    does anyone use a muffler behind the turbo on the sts kit because of it being to loud?thanks in advance josh

    Just use a straight thru design, like magnaflow, anything chambered will choke the power

    just a tial pipe will quiet it down some...

    yeah I ran with no muffler and it wasnt THAT bad. If you wanna quiet it down, plumb the wastegate back into the exhaust

    Yeah, I have a 4" magnaflow stainless steel diesel tailpipe, no muffler, on mine from the turbo back. I pie cut the end to shrink it down to the 3" pipe coming off the turbo.

    Your gonna want it AFTER the turbo.
