I think it might be good to get a change of pace. Only a couple good teams from Big 12 anyway. As long as the rivalry schools stay in the same conference im good.

    A&M
    Tech
    Texas
    OU

    KU
    Kansas

Colorado/Baylor/Nebraska and the others.. who cares

I am a huge college football fan, but thats the problem is all this is based around football. As of right now Baylor has the best men/women basketball program in the big 12(talking about together not men or women seperately, but they are on the brink of that also). They are always good at baseball too. I don't want the big 12 the break up at all. And Baylors football program is gaining some momentum. Its going to be a sad sad day when the break up happens

Well considering Nebraska was one second away from being the best team in the b12 last year, and that their decision to join the b10 is what prompted the Texas schools to move to the pac10, I'd say someone cares.

The reason it's "all about football" is because it makes more money than other sports.

    Football runs all in college.

I think the new PAC-10 super conference will be badass. Prettymuch the entire big12 south coming over will make for some great games. And probably start rivalrys across the country which will be cool.

Texas basketball will always be one that makes the tourny, but will probably never win because the players leave after a season or two. Their team would have consisted of Durant, Aldridge, Augustine, and Abrams had 3 of them not gone pro as soon as they could. I support all Texas Schools, well accept A&M lol. If TX goes to another conference in FB they will not have to play a conference championship so they won't risk their perfect season to a conference contender they beat earlier that year. HOOKEM
