    Hard start question

I don’t know if anyone has ever had this issue but when I try to start my truck after its been setting for a few hours it turns over several times before is starts and then will die. Bu will start just fine aster that. I have changed my filter and cleaned the mass air netter and also added fuel injector cleaner to the tank and still the same problem. Any in put would be well comedy. After it is running it is fine it is just the starting. It’s a 2001 5.3. Thank you in advance.

with the key on fp should be 55-62 psi, pressure should not drop more than 5 psi within 1 minute.

My truck was doing about the samething, but it wouldnt start when it was first cranked then it would fire right up. Ended up changing the fuel pump now I touch the key and she fires up. Just my two cents

That is what i am thinking it might be. The last time I checked the pressure it was like 50 to 52. Sounds like upgrade time.
