Thumbs up Got my Black Bear tune

Got my Black Bear tune installed yesterday. Mailed it off Friday and got it back the following Friday. Came with a nice sticker. Got the pretty standard stuff since this is a daily driver with no real mods. 87 octane tune. 75% torque management removed. Tow haul performance mode. First thing I noticed was the smoothness. At idle and revving it just sounded and felt smooth and rev happier. While driving the shifting is more precise, No more hunting or hesitating. During acceleration, it builds up speed easier. It takes less effort for it to get up to speed. It doesn't feel like it is straining now. Gas mileage, can't check yet still playing. LOL. Thanks Justin and Black Bear Performance.

makes it so when you hit the toe/haul button instead of making shift points and what not easier it makes everything more aggressive. if that makes sense...

its kinda like a hand held with a level 1, 2, 3, etc... regularly youre at level 1, hit the T/H button and youre at level 2

so its is a different setting than your regular tune.... its like dual tunes? didn't think you could do that with HP tunners.

you can only change transmission settings... TM, shift points, shift firmness, etc.

all the fuel/timing tables and all that type stuff stays the same

UPDATE: Checked fuel mileage from 16 to 18. That did include a 120 blast against a Ford in Mexico.

i'm consistently getting about 17.5mpg mixed driving with my 5.3 4x4 5 speed on a BB 93 tune. that's with a few good punches in there. i never had a stock tune to compare it to, but after driving a couple s/c 2010 camaros recently, i don't wanna know how bad it'd be!
