exhaust manifolds...

Hello All,

I have a '00 5.3L (LM7) I'm getting ready to install in my '64. It came out of a truck and I've heard that the exhaust manifolds don't quite fit. You have to notch the frame and I'd rather not do that. Does anyone know if a pair of exhaust manifolds off of a LS6 Corvette motor will fit?

Not sure about those but '98-'99 F-body manifolds are cast steel so you could cut them and reweld them to make them fit.

i used 07 envoy denali manifolds on my 82 no clearance issues, trailblazer ss manifolds should be the same also. just letting you know just in case you come across some.
