Well with a blown tranny in the lifted 99 and a lil one on the way I had to bite the bullet and get a ''family'' truck.
Picked up this 04 GMC Z71 5.3 with 105K on the clock. Lot of miles but 1 owner and EVERY scheduled maintenance was done at the dealer where I got it. CarFax had everything from oil changes to wheel bearings to diff fluid changes. Truck runs strong and shifts perfect. Waaaaaay better then the 99 ever did.
Interior is amazing and the bed maybe has a dozen scratches in it!

+1 My dad's 03 Z71 ECSB rides leagues better than my brother's 08 Z71 ECSB... only other truck I've been in that's ridden as well as that style was my brother's old 92' RCSB Z71 which I am now compelled to upload a picture of... moose just don't think, such a pretty truck IMO. Sorry for the thread jack!
