    6.0 LQ4 build/swap

ok I have posted this on another forum but they are only interested in F-body

I recently blew the 5.3 in my Sierra and am currently building a 6.0 to put back in it. Heres what I have so far

-2005 LQ4 block with what looks to be no miles (truck caught fire, only the intake was lost) picked it up for 500
-317 heads with LS6 valvesprings installed
-ARP Main Studs, Rod Bolts, and Head Studs
-COMP Cams GM LS Series Retrofit Trunnion Kit
    -Melling Performance Oil Pump
    -GM Performance Hydraulic Roller Lifters

This is the part that I need some advice on
    1. I am looking for some reccomendations for forged pistons, I am thinking of putting in a set of diamond brand flatop pistons to up the compression.
    2.Headers?? any reccomendations
3.Cam I like the the way the comp cams thumper series sounds but do not want to upgrade TC for now untill I blow the trans later anyone know a good sounding cam I can put in this thing without sacrificing drivability, I dont mind a good choppy idle but dont want to make it drive like a race car all the time
4 Any other issues yall might know of with this stuff such as PTC any input would be appreciated.

Things you should know, I do not plan to tow with this truck as I have a 2500 now
My wife might have to drive it occasionally if her car takes a dump
And after I redo the trans I plan on adding N20 up to maybe 150-175 hp

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the response, I am def planning on flat top pistons, and am going to check on the headers. Who makes a cam with that grind?

i think its a Comp cam, but im not for sure.

    i have a 220/224 .585.588 113+4 in my 5.3 an 15+ it PULLS, an 55+ punch it PULLS too!

my buddy had it in a LS2 6.0 in a TBSS and with a stock stall it drove fine. it didnt even have LTs.

    mechanical fan
    UD crank pulley
    no cats/no muffler
    Tune
    4:10s
    on 17" DRs (size unknown)

it went 12.9@ 103 swapped cams an added efans went 12.6 and the tranny slipped.

i have a video of my cam running through LTs/custom 3" exhaust into a 22 or 24" magnaflow turned down by the rear end. you can barely hear the cam but like i said, it pulls hard!
